Energy-saving lamp campaign

OSRAM donates 250,000 energy-saving lamps to Germany / campaign in cooperation with Bild am Sonntag and Bauhaus

With the largest energy-saving lamp campaign of all times, covering the whole of Germany, Osram will be giving out a strong signal on March 18, 2007 to encourage people to replace ordinary light bulbs with energy-saving lamps. Osram and Bild am Sonntag will be donating a total of 250,000 OSRAM Duluxstar energy-saving lamps with the support of Bauhaus. Each year, each of the energy-saving lamps manufactured in Germany reduces CO2 emissions by the same amount that a tree can absorb. When they present the coupon from the March 18 edition of Bild am Sonntag in any German BAUHAUS center, consumers will receive an energy-saving lamp. The campaign will run from March 19 to 23, 2007.
