LILO seminar a great success
Professional seminar on lighting control
"A great event for users." That's how one participant from Nuremberg summed up Osram's training course "LILO 10 - the professional seminar" which has been designed to give electricians such as the man from Nuremberg specific further training.
Since 1988, these courses have reached out not only to technicians but also to lighting planners, building operators and even trade fair/shop fitters and architects.
As the title "professional seminar" suggests, this latest event was designed in particular for people who already had an advanced skill set. Like its predecessors, LILO 10 was a great success. "Around 800 people attended the course. This exceeded our expectations, and feedback was almost entirely positive", said Rainer Wrenger, the person at Osram responsible for organising the course.
With 42 seminars in 39 cities, participants learned a great deal about the four core topics of lighting applications, dimming solutions, lighting control and building networking. One electrician from Hamburg praised the "practical approach" to dynamic lighting solutions and lighting management systems. There was also great enthusiasm for the demo sets and appreciation for the commitment and know-how of the trainers. One comment that summed it all up nicely was: "Good links to actual practice. Knowledgeable answers"
