Highest standard light management and greater efficiency
OSRAM’s new Dali Professional System enables simple control of complex light installations
Modern lighting has to be functional and save energy at the same time. Plus, it should make varied mood lighting possible in different situations without forfeiting user-friendliness. OSRAM’s new Dali Professional light management system is specifically designed for these tasks. It takes on light control in complex lighting installations, which are spread over many areas with various lighting requirements.

The Dali Professional light management system handles lighting control for complex installations involving different rooms and light requirements, such as in offices. By using this system, significant energy savings can be achieved.
With OSRAM’S Dali Professional system it is possible to implement daylight or presence-dependent as well as daylight simulation with different white colour temperatures. Up to 256 electronic control gears and 50 couplers can be connected on four Dali lines to the Dali Pro Cont-4 control unit. With plug & play capability the control unit is preconfigured and ready to use straightaway. The system includes sensor couplers to integrate light or presence sensors from OSRAM’s Multi 3 system and push-button couplers to use commercially available switching programmes.
You can individually configure groups, scenes and associated parameters on your PC via USB and a simple user interface. Connections between devices are presented graphically so they are particularly user-friendly.
Save energy through intelligent light control
The system is especially appropriate for offices and industrial applications, such as for controlling light in rooms and on floors, in corridors or stairwells. Daylight-dependent regulation in combination with presence sensors enables significant energy savings. Extensive sequential control also enables programmes to be run via four integrated, easily configurable changeover relays in the controller.
OSRAM also provides capacitive glass touch panels and a touch screen as aesthetically appealing and functional operating components.
Several separate offices: how it works
With Dali Professional software, different, customised lighting conditions can be set up for several separate offices. By integrating presence sensors, the light is then increased or decreased depending on whether anyone is in the office. Optical sensors also register how much daylight is available and adjust the light level accordingly. Intelligent control of lighting can thus save a lot of energy, reduce CO2 emissions and create ideal working conditions with the best possible lighting.
