And the winner is ... And the winner is ... OSRAM. Arnold Schwarzenegger presents us with an OSCAR for the XBO cinema lamp. In 1987 we received another one for the HMI lamp. HMI lamps have been further developed to deliver up to 24,000 W. The HMI 18,000 W also won a coveted "EMMY Engineering Award“, the TV equivalent of an Oscar.
