Fluorescent lamps from OSRAM are economical to use and have a particularly long life. To meet the demands of their various applications they are becoming more and more powerful and indeed are opening up new areas of use, particularly the new low-pressure discharge lamps that are even less susceptible to changes in temperature.
Low-pressure gas discharge
Fluorescent lamps are low-pressure gas discharge lamps. The glass tube is filled with an inert gas at lowpressure and a small quantity of mercury.

HIGH EFFICIENCY
Lamps with high efficiency (HE) are designed for maximal economy, in other words for maximum luminous flux (in lumen, lm) from the lamp output (in watts, W). Irrespective of their wattage all the lamps in this series have the same luminance.
